The ideal person for this role will provide support across all human resource areas to help the team support business goals and ensure market competitiveness.
Responsibilities
- Determines items to track and review based on business objectives.
- Collects and compiles data from a variety of sources to use in workforce talent analytics.
- Ensures data integrity.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns.
- Prepares and presents reports around workforce talent analytics, including explaining findings and insights into how to use and interpret data.
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
- Utilizes predictive analytics to make recommendations for future talent planning.
- Identifies opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and simplification of processes.
- Determines ROI of various talent related program investments.
- Project management for special projects.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of data science, analytics and/or management experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent additional experience
- Strong Excel and technical skills to automate processes and support calculations and analytics
- Demonstrated learning agility: to learn from experience and apply these insights to future applications
- Strong communication skills to create effective partnerships and make presentations to company leaders
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong PowerPoint skills, including the ability to convert large amounts of data into clear, concise management presentations that facilitate decision making
- Ability to make judgements and decisions on confidential matters
- Ability to engage in prolonged periods of computer use utilizing desktop and web-based applications
Preferred Skills
- Workforce people analytics experience
- Workday Discovery Board and Worksheets design and use
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment
