Job Summary
This posting is intended to establish a pool of eligible applicants for any Instruction and Data Support Teacher openings that may arise for the 2023-2024 school year. These positions will be grant funded through June of 2025. If the grant is not refunded at the end of the 2024-2025 school year, any permanent/probationary certificated teachers in these positions will be offered classroom teaching positions. Instruction and Data Support Teachers will work under the supervision of the Executive Director, Learning Support, with direction from the site Principal(s). The role of the Instruction and Data Support Teacher will be to support site teams in instructional best practices and build capacity through peer coaching, modeling, and peer-to-peer feedback. Emphasis will be on deepening understanding of effective, sustainable systems of support related to in instructional strategies and the use of data to drive decisions. Instruction and Data Support Teachers will provide appropriate coaching and support teachers and data teams in analyzing data to identify school-wide, grade level, and student level strengths and needs and evidence based interventions.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of one of the following: a. Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with EL Authorization/CLAD b. Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential with EL Authorization/CLAD c. Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild/Mod with EL Authorization/CLAD d. Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mod/Sev with EL Authorization/CLAD
