We are seeking an IT Lab Technician to join our team for a W2 contract position with one of our premier customers that possesses the following skills.

  Onsite in Bedford, MA
• Pay $33 an hour
• 12 month (W2) contract
• 2 years of relevant IT experience
• Ability to build Mac, Windows and Linux PC's
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and troubleshooting connectiviy issues
• Great interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Management & Support of the IT lab.
• End user Support & troubleshooting

Qualifications:

Candidate must have:

• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Responsible for the Management and support of the IT lab (primarily desktops). Inventory management, tracking, etc..
• Ability to build Mac, Windows and Linux PCs following the documented procedure.
• Experience with Mac and Windows 10 PCs.
• Unbox, build and re-box Mac, Linux & Windows PCs. Drop the boxes off to be shipped to the appropriate end users.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP & troubleshooting connectivity issues from a desktop perspective.
• Experience supporting Desktops & assorted peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.) including acting as first client contact, the ability to analyze the issue, gather details & assign to other support team members.
• Good client interpersonal skills and experience providing excellent customer service.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Relevant Certifications are a plus.
• SCCM and Jamf experience is a plus.
• Linux experience is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge of ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing system is a plus.
