Technical Group Specialist for the Machine Shop and Tool Prep Department at our Main Plant in Paragould - Day Shift. Summary Assures timely and accurate entry of “Time Sheets” information entered each day. Maintains documentation of Production Report and assures for accuracy. Assures timely and accurate entry of Purchase Orders into Purchasing Database. Maintains documentation control and tracking of Purchase Orders.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Enters Purchase Orders into Oracle Database.


Files copy of each work order received, and routes original copy to Machine Shop Lead.


Prepares time records to be charged against each department. Maintain accurate records associated with damage, wear & tear and replacement charged against each department.


Maintain and assures accuracy in the Machine Shop/Tool Prep and R&D monthly Budget Reports.


Record and maintain accuracy of Production Report information and provide the report in the first week of each month.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
