The Technical Stores Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and administration of aircraft parts and material inventory to ensure the highest level of operational integrity and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Plans and utilizes resources to meet operational and departmental goals and objectives.*
  • Ensures efficient scheduling and use of assigned resources to provide maximum, effective productivity.*
  • Manages and coordinates shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution functions for aircraft parts and material.*
  • Ensures that all parts and material storage centers are maintained in compliance with FAA, OSHA, and EPA regulations and company policies and procedures.*
  • Ensures that complete and accurate records are maintained.
  • Prepares various reports and summaries relating to maintenance and engineering procedures, plans, and forecasts.*
  • Administers and controls assigned budgetary responsibilities and prepares monthly budget variance reports.*
  • Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.*
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.*
  • May be called in on irregular operations (nights, weekends, holidays).

Education/Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a Materials Management discipline, or equivalent practical career experience
  • Three to five years warehousing and inventory control experience in a union environment.
