THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a seasonal Tennis Instructor for this summer. Previous instruction experience required.

Job duties include:

Teaching the club’s kids camp (10-12 hours weekly)

Court Maintenance. Daily sweeping our har-tru courts, stocking the courts’ stations with towels, water, cups. Making sure our courts and their water/rest stations are always ready for member play.

Racquet stringing. Knowing how to string is a plus. We can provide training otherwise.

Teaching private lessons and clinics when needed.

Qualifications include:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Skilled tennis player with some tennis instructing experience. Certification is a plus but not required.

Skilled at motivating students.

Strong work ethic.

Dynamic interpersonal skills to engage positively with club members both on and off the court.

• Haverhill, MA 01830: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• tennis instruction: 3 years (Preferred)
