Responsible for the test and troubleshooting of electronic circuit boards and assemblies built at the Williamsport facility. You will interact with our manufacturing and operations teams in a professional and courteous manner, on occasion you will respond to our customers concerns regarding technical requirements and results of the test process.

• Tests and/or troubleshoots, production line circuits and systems to Engineering documentation and standards.
• Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, and test equipment applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics.
• May draw sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
• Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.
• Recommends changes in circuitry or assembly methods to achieve zero defects.
• Sets up standard test apparatus, test equipment, and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, and environmental tests to achieve customer requirements.
• Analyzes and interprets test data and provides engineering with feedback on negative trends in test.
• Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, product and equipment as defined by procedures and engineering instructions.
• Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations for consideration by engineers.
• May operate bench lathes, drills, or other machine tools to fabricate equipment such as terminal boards, and chassis.
• May check functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
• May instruct and/or mentor other technical personnel
• May perform functions in electronic applications as Computer-Laboratory Technician; Development-Instrumentation Technician; Electronic-Communications Technician; Electronics Technician as needed.

Requirements

• BS in a STEM related field (experience may be substituted)
• 3-5 years experience
• Good electromechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
