Position Definition: Responsible for coordinating the training in support of screener performance at SFO.
Duties:
- Stay current in all process documentation (e.g., SOP, SDs, ODs, NSBs) Read all pertinent document revisions and work with Operations to assess training needs.
- Assist in managing the rollout of new security screening procedures, new hire training, remedial training, supervisor training, and recurrent training.
- Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business/security initiatives and technologies.
- Coordinate, track, and perform project assignments for CAS Training.
- Assist in the development of performance benchmarks and provides analysis on project objectives and results.
- Provide summary reports based on feedback, reports, progress on project fixes, and information flow between Operations, Human Resources, and Training.
- Interpret available training data to identify significant trends in screener training statistics and prepare conclusions and improvement methodologies based upon those trends.
- Ensure training for new or revised procedures is planned and executed in a timely fashion.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Checkpoint and Checked Baggage SOP.
- Minimum 3-5 years professional training and courseware development experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in each area.
- Experience in delivering training material both in a classroom and job training environment; -screener and airport security experience preferred.
- Experience managing needs assessments, design, development, implementation and evaluation of instructional materials.
- Knowledge of current instructional design methodologies for job-aids, instructor-led and web-based training.
- Knowledge Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.).
- Ability to manage, create and track reports in various Learning Management Systems.
- Requires a willingness to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends from time to time.
