Job Summary
This position involves varied customer services responsibilities to the patrons and potential patrons of the Connect Douglas Transit Services programs. Provide information to the public and assist with the day-to-day operations and administration of Connect Douglas Transportation Center. This individual is often the first line of contact for this department and must have good phone/ in-person contact with the citizens and a positive attitude. Must be punctual and dependable.

- 25 – 29 hours a week, at times established by the Transit Services Coordinator or his/her designee
- Additional hours on an as-needed basis, as approved by the Transit Services Manager or his designee
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Performing opening and/or closing responsibilities
- Answering phone and greeting customers
- Selling Connect Douglas passes, Mobility vouchers and GRTA services
- Providing information (in person and over the phone) about available transportation services provided by our Connect Douglas
- Balancing daily receipts at the end of each shift
- Work closely with Transit staff and the Mobility Coordinator to provide a positive client experience
- Any other tasks assigned and flexibility to be a part of a dynamic team
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or General Educational Development Certificate (GED)
- Two years related work experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Must be computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Georgia Driver's License (Class C), a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) and the ability and willingness to drive a county vehicle; if assigned job duties require the use of a vehicle
- Minimum 21 years of age
Employment is contingent on passing a mandatory Physical/Drug Screen/MVR and Background Investigation.
Salary: $15.00/hourly, NO BENEFITS
