We have been blessed with a lot of work and are looking to add to our team. We are looking for an experienced Transmission Builder; you will be assisting with diagnostics of the many transmission issues, determining parts needed, and rebuilding transmission on a vehicle. This position will be responsible for explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to the Service Advisor, and occasionally directly to the customer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Diagnose failure on automotive systems drivetrain, and computer systems, and an occasional remove and replacement of transmissions.
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities ensuring quality repairs the first time.
• Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service advisor and technicians.
• Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a professional automotive technician.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Appropriate Automotive Master tools necessary for service performed.
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
• Proven leadership abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
