Job description
The
Treating Plant Mixer is responsible for assisting the Treating Plant Operator with pad responsibilities such as cleaning, organizing, loading/unloading carts, etc. as deemed necessary, while maintaining environmental and safety compliance at all times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Work with a safety mindset at all times.
- Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed and report all unsafe or non-compliant issues.
- Attend all training sessions and safety meetings.
- Other duties as directed.
- Maintain a clean pad area before and after charges
- Secure the bundles of wood on the trams before entry
- Mix chemicals according to specifications
- Maintain a clean mixing area - free of empty bags and excess chemicals
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) recommended.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to demonstrate behaviors conforming to Hoover’s set of values and accepted standards.
- Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Can be hot, cold, humid, and/or rainy. Will get dirty. Will require entry into small, enclosed spaces. May require climbing of heights up to 50 feet.
