Champlain Orthodontics and myOrthos is an orthodontic practice in VT. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing team player with great customer service skills to join our fast-paced, well-established orthodontic practice.

The purpose of a Treatment Coordinator is to influence patients to say yes to their smile journey by building relationships and confidently presenting treatment fees and financing options. Your primary role is encouraging and enabling patients to start their smile journey in our office, so we are looking for a compassionate person who is driven by the challenge of customer commitment. You will also be responsible for collecting payments and deposits and maintaining relationships with patients by establishing trust before and after their new patient exams. You will be responsible for attaining our goals by asking patients for the business and reaching a goal of 75% case acceptance.

Responsibilities:
  • Convert new patient exams into satisfied patients through education and overcoming objections
  • Maintain the practices standard for high treatment acceptance
  • Take Doctors notes and ensure patients charts are complete
  • Work out payment plans
  • Call, email, text patients to confirm appointments and follow up
  • Build and maintain relationship and trust with patients and clientele during and after visit
  • Follow up- comfortable re-approaching qualified patients who haven’t yet said yes and gaining commitment
  • Work with office administration by confirming New Patient consultations, ensuring their New Patient forms have been completed prior to their appointment, communication of the patient experience to the new patients
  • Overcome objections from patients around financing options
Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent: College degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience sales or other service industry; retail
  • Experience closing sales and gaining customer commitment
  • Comfortable with computer systems and technology
  • Ability to convert inquiries into contracts
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
