Job description
SUMMARY
The individuals in this position will meet and greet guests at the Acute/ER nursing station using excellent customer service. They will be responsible for registrations, gathering and accurately entering data into the computer system. This position will answer phones, take messages and distribute, transfer calls, and schedule patient appointments. This position will also monitor the nurse call system, Emergency Radio, and Telemetry systems and alert nursing staff of contact and requests. This work must be accomplished with courtesy, integrity, sensitivity, respect, confidentiality and privacy of patient health information. Must be able to work as a team player with a positive attitude in any situation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical background and/or knowledge of medical terminology are strongly preferred.
