Position Responsibilities:

Sales/Brand Building Activities

• Increase awareness of Tijuana Flats and help to drive customer traffic to store locations.
• Promote catering with goal of increasing catering business.
• Increase general brand awareness through distribution of promotional items (i.e. swag, coupons, flyers, etc.).
• Develop and manage relationships within the UF Campus.
• Promote app and loyalty program on campus.
• Promote Spirit Night fundraiser opportunities to non-profit organizations across campus.

Special Event Planning/Support

• Identify event opportunities on campus and coordinate/execute all aspects of event with support of local AMC.
• Host 8-10 table activations on campus per semester
• Identify and coordinate participation for one large exposure opportunity on campus per semester.
• Attend, oversee and obtain pictures for all events. Compose recap of events to share with Marketing Team.

Communication and organization responsibilities

• Participate in weekly call with AMC and Ambassador Team
• Track and report on all activities to AMC and Field Marketing Manager in weekly tracker.
• Compose and submit end of semester recap of efforts.
• Submit requests for any event specific collateral or materials needed to AMC in timely manner.
• Work closely with AMC to maintain supply of promotional items for weekly campus efforts.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Full-time undergraduate student, Planning to register for the Spring 2023 Semester
• Pursuing Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field.
• Active member of campus organizations, clubs and/or Greek life.
• Ideal candidate will have 2K+ followers on Tik Tok, Instagram and/or Twitter.
• Not engaged in another ambassador program.
• Self-starter – can identify and pursue opportunities with little guidance from others
• Ability to manage part-time work and studies and available to work some evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be highly organized and have the ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and constantly changing demands and schedules
• General knowledge of Microsoft office (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel etc.).
• Ability to work as a strong team player in a challenging, fast-paced environment
• Hospitality, sales, or marketing experience a plus

Compensation:

• Minimum Wage
• $20 weekly food stipend for social content
