Hours- Must be able to work various hours and days to include some weekends
Location- Must be able to work at different COVID Vaccine & Testing Clinics throughout Baltimore and surrounding counties
Responsibilities:
Non-Clinical staff responsible for registering/check-in patient upon clinic arrival. Second dose scheduling and other administrative duties as assigned
Schedule patients for COVID test, run reports, link vaccine orders to scheduled appointment, verify demographic and insurance and address patients’ questions about myChart access and any other customer related questions.
Interact successfully with the public. Perform effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities; maintaining personal composure in high stress situations.
Demonstrate and convey a favorable image of the organization and to conform to proper standards of professional dress, attitude and demeanor. Ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills required to interact with patients, patients’ families/visitors and clinical staff.
Perform with a high degree of accuracy and with meticulous attention to detail. Use initiative and judgment to identify, analyze and solve problems.
Qualifications:
Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year work experience in similar role.
Must be able to work at different COVID Vaccine & Testing Clinics throughout Baltimore and surrounding counties
Proficiency on multi-line telephone, computer, copier, fax machine, all computer systems including scheduling, registration, billing and order communications.
EPIC Certification through Johns Hopkins training will be required prior to starting the temporary assignment.
Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents without likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed.
Requires ability to stand, walk or sit for an extended period of time.
