They are responsible for contacting educational institutions, licensing boards, and employers/references to verify education, licenses, certifications, and employment, as well as conduct performance interviews. This requires familiarity with computer systems, processes, and shortcuts, as well as strong customer service skills. Responsibilities:

The Verification Specialist works within a high volume call center environment. They are responsible for contacting educational institutions, licensing boards, and employers/references to verify education, licenses, certifications, and employment, as well as conduct performance interviews. This requires familiarity with computer systems, processes, and shortcuts, as well as strong customer service skills.
- Work within a queue to:
- Make a high volume of calls to verify information provided
- Send emails, faxes and other written communication to applicants, third-party entities, and internal stakeholders
- Receive and enter data into the system according to established protocols
- Follow scripts and guided call path within proprietary software
- Maintain established performance metrics including calls per hour and quality
- Adhere to established processes and procedures
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and legal compliance regulations as required
- Escalate orders as appropriate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Strong customer service, phone, and Internet research skills
- Able to read from a script and type notes at the same time
- Able to work in a high production environment meeting assigned quotas
- Minimum 40 wpm typing with accuracy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook required) (Office 365 preferred), Internet, and ability to learn new technology
- Previous experience using proprietary software (preferred)
- Ability to foster communication across departments.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Multilingual preferred.
