Ashburn Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA accredited hospital, and the Fancy Paws Cat Clinic, a feline-exclusive practice in Ashburn, VA, are looking for an experienced veterinary assistant. We need individuals who love working with both canine and feline patients and are dedicated to providing exceptional service as well as educating clients regarding wellness and preventive care.

Our hospitals place a great deal of emphasis on preventive care and client experience and creating lasting bonds with our clients and patients. Individuals should be able to multi-task, possess great attention to detail, excellent verbal communication and work as part of a team.

Skills/Qualifications

Experience with documenting treatments and history in electronic medical records, ability to review medical records (vaccinations), clinical skills (gentle restraint of pets for exam, blood draw, catheter placement) , knowledge regarding preventive care as well as ability to perform diagnostic procedures, and use medical equipment such as digital x-ray.
