We have a PT and FT Client Service Coordinator (veterinary receptionist) position opened.

Here are some specifics about the position at our location:
  • Our hospital:
    • We have 4 doctors, 1 practice manager, 2 shift leads, 3 CSCs, 9 LVTs (licensed vet techs) and 6 VAs (veterinary assistant)
    • We are here Mon-Sat 7-630, and closed Sunday
    • Proven exceptional client experience and positive associate engagement
    • No gossip policy
    • No drama policy
    • We are open every day of the year, except 6 days (Thanksgiving eve, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's eve and New Year's Day).
  • The Job:
    • Call offs should be rare as they are a burden to the team, you should not call off more than once every 3 months
    • We are a very fast pasted work environment that requires team work and efficiency
    • This is a client facing position that requires a strong friendly, compassionate and empathetic personality
    • Needs exceptional, strong communication, able to leave a detailed message, strong and confident customer service and pet empathy and client care.
    • Phone calls consists of 50-100 calls per day, making appointments, confirming appointments, notifying owners of pet's preventative care status
    • Navigating and problem solving on how to help the client with questions or in need of a service
    • Standing, sitting and moving around the front and back of desk
    • Interaction with small, large cats and dogs
    • Restocking and cleaning exam rooms
    • Muli tasker esp with phones, scheduling appointments on the computer and acknowledging clients
    • Leaving messages for the doctor or licensed veterinary technician with date, client name, pet name, client number, the reason for the call and your initials.
    • Customer focus on the 10-foot rule to acknowledge client
    • Handling:
      • Cash, money deposit, pets, placing pets in kennels, being able to read friendly, stressed or aggressive pets
      • Cleaning scale, front desk, taking out hospital trash, cleaning chemicals, sweeping, mopping, safely handling pet waste
  • Associate Responsibility:
    • Basic work ethic
    • Come to work on time
    • Do not exceed the 60 min unpaid lunch break
    • Integrity and trust
    • Clean, neat and no body odor
    • All of our positions require every other Sat 8-hour shift minimum.
    • Associate needs to work at least 3 days a week
    • Shifts are primarily 7-430 or 930-630 or 1230-630 or mid
    • Required to be available for an 8 hr shift on your Sat worked
