Looking for a good work/life balance? Linn Animal Hospital Marion is hiring a Full time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant in a 3 location, 5 doctor practice.

Veterinary Technician responsibilities include: Assisting veterinarians with surgical procedures, performing dental cleanings, administering and monitoring anesthesia, nursing care for our sick patients, phlebotomy and iv catheter placement, laboratory testing, technician appointments (vaccinations, injections, nail trims, blood draws), digital and dental radiography, entering medical records, generating and cashing out client invoices, checking patients into rooms, and client education.

Our practice includes in-house IDEXX laboratory analyzers, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house pharmacy, 4 patient exam rooms, and a full surgical suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
