Washington County Veterinary Hospital is a modern facility providing our clients and patients with exceptional veterinary care. We are looking to add a full-time experienced veterinary technician to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate must be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with x-ray and proper positioning, using laboratory equipment, and being a positive and supportive team player. Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Knowledge of animal behavior and healthcare
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Understand the importance of client education
• Team Player willing to continue to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
