Veterinary Center of Woodland Hills is looking to hire a hard-working, motivated Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team. At Veterinary Center of Woodland Hills, we believe in the importance of cross-training. The ideal candidate would be compassionate towards our patients and clients. We are looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience and willing to teach, train and mentor other team members. A positive and motivating attitude is a must. The ideal candidate would be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, monitoring surgery patients, surgical recovery, drawing blood and running bloodwork, placing IV catheters, knowledge of x-ray and proper positioning, experience with in-clinic laboratory equipment, comfortable with proper animal handling and restraint, understand the importance of client education and is a positive and supportive team player.

Responsibilities:
Includes working in tandem with the Veterinarians to implement treatment protocols, perform various diagnostic tests, take patient histories, assist in surgical and dental procedures, as well as supervise the admission and release of patients.

**Pay Range $25-$30/hour**
Requirements:
- MUST be available on weekends
- Valid CA RVT; Registered Vet Technicians are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to monitor and chart vital signs during anesthetic procedures
- Ability to place I.V. catheters
- Experience handling cats and administering medications
- Proficiency in venipuncture
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Sense of enthusiasm
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
