Job Summary:
This role reports to the Global VP Controlling & Regional Finance, offering a competitive compensation package and opportunity for on-going career growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ownership for all finance and accounting transactions for legal entities within North America to ensure transparent, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
- As a member of the regional management team and a key business partner, act as a co-decision-maker together with other functional leaders by providing an independent view on opportunities, risks, and challenges for the organization.
- Responsible for future-oriented financial analysis as a base for proactive improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for oversight of the preparation of balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, budget, data forecasts, cash flow data and other reports.
- Coordination for risk management & audit including involvement in assessing, managing, and reporting of risks.
- Coordination between global/corporate functions and North American entities to ensure adequate information flow and understanding of the requirements.
- Provide oversight and coordination of operating reports and statutory filings, establish, and maintain financial controls.
Qualifications:
- Seven to ten years progressive accounting experience, with five years leading a Finance or Accounting function in an international environment. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required. Advanced degree, certificates, or CPA a plus.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of FICO ERP. SAP proficiency a plus.
- High level computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including advanced excel functions, pivot tables and formulas required.
- Demonstrated experience to influence others and get results. Ability to see the big-picture and understand needs of the business.
- International experience, communicative personality with the ability to coordinate and collaborate across cultures.
