Machine Operators- $18 to $19.75 p/hr

Manpower has partnered with a manufacturer to find top notch Machine Operators for their New Berlin, WI location!

- $18-$19.75 per hour
- 8-hour shifts - With the opportunity to work overtime.
- Shifts: 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm.
- ENTRY LEVEL willing to train.
- Opportunity to advance and grow.
What will you be doing?
- Entry level machine operator.
- Repair and waxing of molds for surface imperfections.
- Set up, operate, and tend molds to create elements for a wide variety of shoes.
- Move and position mold sections using lifting tables.
- Brush mold sections with wax to facilitate removal of elements from molds.
- Lift the upper sections of the mold from the lower sections and remove the elements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the machines work correctly.
- Control the temperature of the molds.
- Detect and report all quality problems.
- Keep track of daily production requirements.
- Previous machine operating experience preferred, but not required!
What do you bring?
- High School Diploma or GED-Preferred
- Be bilingual: Spanish and English.
- Pass drug screening and background check.
- Wear steel toed shoes.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read precision instruments and learn computer spreadsheets. (Excel)
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work in a hot environment.
