Job Description

The Rack Store team is looking for a positive, motivated individual to support the company’s warehouse operations. Capability to perform listed requirements and willingness to work and support a team is of utmost importance. Leadership is willing to train and certify the right person.

The Warehouse Associate will receive, stock, organize, load and unload industrial material handling inventory and perform various warehouse activities, as needed. The right candidate should be able to manage time effectively, be a team player and a problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Process, package and ship orders accurately
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
• Organize warehouse space
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check, verify and fill customer invoices
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily

Required/Preferred Skills

• PPE Gear - hard hat, gloves, steel toe boots, vest
• Prior warehouse experience nice to have, but willing to train
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment nice to have, but willing to fully train and certify
• Familiarity with computer use nice to have, but willing to train
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products with material handling equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
