WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

As an entry-level Material Handler, you are involved in all of our warehouse operations. You receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. To keep our inventory in order, you organize stock as well as process, pack, and ship orders. You are efficient as you load and unload trucks and assemble orders. It is your responsibility to ensure all inventory materials are accounted for as they are moved to and from storage locations. Safety is your top priority as you operate material handling equipment, industrial trucks, hand trucks, and forklifts. You meticulously perform audits of finished goods as received from production and complete reports. You inspect the condition of all items received, noting any discrepancies, faulty, or defective materials. You have a great sense of accomplishment seeing your hard work result in an organized and efficient warehouse!

• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Solid inventory skills
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is desired but not necessary.

WHAT A DAY TO DAY LOOKS LIKE:

• Puts Stock away, pulls orders and accepts shipments and ships product by unloading, loading, and verifying shipments
• Stocks and pulls orders in a timely fashion with accuracy
• Receives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers
• Verifies items received by inspecting the condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies
• Documents items received by recording identifying information
• Transfers orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting department
• Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers.
• Ships items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items.
• Documents items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
