POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for ordering, processing, verifying, and inventorying parts for the warehouse. Completes related reports and documentation of parts requested. Tracks and stocks items in designated areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

1. Assists in the effective completion of assigned parts and warehouse functions.

2. Assists in the effective and timely completion of Parts department functions.

3. Ensures warehouse and receiving functions are completed in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and standards.

4. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communication, coordination and working relations with Kane’s personnel and with management.

5. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

• 
  All materials received are processed timely and in accordance with schedules.

• 
  Orders are processed and shipped as scheduled.

• 
  Reports and records are accurate and timely.

• 
  Effective coordination and communication exist with area personnel. Assistance is provided as needed.

• 
  Shipping and receiving functions are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures and with Company quality and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: High school Diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge: The loading or unloading of the product.

Experience Required: Shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience helpful.

Skills/Abilities: Well organized and attentive to detail.

Able to coordinate well with others.

Quality orientation. Able to operate handcart.
