POSITION: Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will manage the functions of warehousing, receiving, shipping, material issuance to manufacturing, inventory control, accuracy of all stock, and planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse’s storage and shipment processes. Their duties and responsibilities often include:

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
• Executes maintenance activities when needed.
• Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
• Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts
• Ensure completion and proper execution of work procedures
• Ability to read and understand product codes
• Daily floor count inventory accuracy.
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
• Coach and lead the Warehouse team to increase productivity and provide high-quality customer service.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
• Warehouse Supervisor will be accountable for inventory accuracy and monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Warehouse Supervisor will manage warehouse and shipping operations efficiently and orderly; will maintain a clean, safe, productive, and accurate work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or Business Administration
• Seven to ten years of Materials Management, Warehouse Management or Logistics experience
• Three to five years of experience managing people
• Deep understanding of Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control and Warehouse Management Systems
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented, and able to communicate with people at all levels of the organization in both written and verbal form.
• Spanish fluency a plus.
• Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, and have workable knowledge of WMS systems and associated business processes.
• Forklift Certified preferred
