Position Title: Warehouse Technician

Report to (Title):Warehouse Supervisor

Department: Sourcing

Location: Cumberland Warehouse

Position Prerequisites (Certification, Degrees, etc.):

High School Diploma; College Degree Preferred.

Minimum 2 Years of Warehouse Experience

Familiar with equipment operation (i.e., Forklift)

Position Summary

Member of the Sourcing Department at Cumberland Mine whose responsibilities include receiving and issuing material and assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in operating and maintaining a safe and clean work area. This position assists mine management in fulfilling all of their daily needs. Also includes handling emergency purchases during other than normal business hours.

Job Specific and/or Technical Skills Required

• Computer Skills
• Knowledge of Material Management Systems
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Valid Driver’s license, with clean driving history
• Ability to operate company vehicle for critical parts transportation between warehouses

Major Responsibilities

• Warehouse Functions
• Reviewing Open Warehouse Requisitions
• Resolve packing slips and quantity discrepancies
• Cycle Counting
• Handling emergency purchases for mine operations.

Work Schedule

The current work schedule is as 12-hour shift, 4 days on and 3 days off. Successful candidate must be able to fill in for illness and vacations during the week. Schedule is subject to change to rotating shifts, to provide 24/7 Warehouse coverage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
