Job Description

Candidate will be updating a Drupal website as well as “old school” HTML pages. Occasionally, they will be asked to build a few things with CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. They could also be asked to create low- and high-fidelity wireframes for new websites or site areas.

They must be able to work quickly and accurately. The consultant will respond to work requests from managers and staff in many departments. At times they will be required to respond to requests from senior management and to provide creative solutions to unique issues. The selected individual will work with in-house web team staff to ensure that standards and best practices are being followed and to provide knowledge transfer to staff members and management. Candidate should be confident and able to work independently, but also should not hesitate to ask questions and seek clarification on work requests and assignments.
Qualifications and Skills:
-High-level technical knowledge and experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
-A mastery understanding of web development troubleshooting skills and tools.
-Strong reading comprehension and ability to find and correct basic errors on web pages.
-Knowledge of Drupal or other content management systems.
-Strong background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to converse with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
-Experience with graphic design and wireframing in Adobe XD is highly desirable.
