Job summary:
The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for the operation of nursing stations, including management of resident care and assigned staff. The Evening Nurse Supervisor will ensure that services are provided with a resident care focus, in accordance with the nursing process, current standards of practice, and state and federal regulations. Additionally, all services are provided in accordance with the mission of Guardian Angels.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of care and services delivered to the clients on the assigned unit

Rounds with staff to gain input into unit and client needs

Provides support and direction as an available resource Nurse for the staff, eg; in the event of an emergency/change in condition/high risk incidents
- Working supervisor to support the Admissions Processes, orders and initial care plans
- Conducts Resident Assessments
- Assists with staffing as needed
- Education and training of staff
- Assists staff on floor when needed
- Performs Audits on routine basis or as needed
Other Duties:
- Covid-19 testing/rapid antigen testing
- Contact tracing
- Pain assessments
Schedule:
- Exempt
- 16 - 24hrs PPP
- Works every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2:30p.m. to 11:00p.m.(Flexibility available for Friday shift)
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Geriatric Nursing, knowledge of MDS and Medicare requirements and regulations
- Current MN RN license with five plus years prior RN experience
- Prior supervisory experience a plus
- Current CPR certification is required
