Part time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Family Medicine/Urgent Care opportunity near Sanford NC. Saturday and Sunday hours only (8 am – 4 pm). Great opportunity for PA or NP that has weekends free and wants extra hours or Provider that can job share to allow more time with family. Solo Provider model for weekend so experience is a must.

About the PA or NP part time opportunity

• Great new office location with 4 exam rooms
• Extending hours to Saturday and Sunday to best care for growing patient panel
• Weekend hours will have walk-in or Urgent Care feel, no annual exams or wellness
• Visits will be URI, pharyngitis, cough, asthma, GI upset, headache, minor sports injuries
• Autonomous work with MD support by phone
• Medical Assistant supports with scheduling and rooming patients
• Office is Family Medicine with a Pediatric leaning- over 60 % of visits will be under 18 years of age
• Weekend only schedule but team is open to Saturday, Sunday, and Monday hours too.

Requirements of the PA or NP opportunity

• Graduate with Master’s Degree as PA or NP
• National Certification
• North Carolina Medical License complete
• Over 2 years of experience as PA or NP in Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Comfort seeing all ages including Pediatric patient office presentations
• Confident and reliable for weekend coverage since only provider ( MD owner, PAs, and NPs on the team available to cover with notice)
