Ledgewood Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, is currently seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor every other weekend. The Weekend Nurse Supervisor provides direct, hands-on supervision and monitoring of the care that is delivered to residents and ensures that high quality resident care is provided, while promoting the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well being for the residents. The Weekend Nurse Supervisor will also provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff during the weekend shifts. This position could be part-time, every other weekend, or full-time by picking up additional vacant shifts during the week!

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN)

• Must possess valid unencumbered, RN or LPN License and current CPR certification.
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN):

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
• Supervise weekend RN, LPN, and CNA staff
• Respond to family inquiries
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
