Fitter/Welder Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
Fit pieces to ready for welding- Structural welding mig and fluxcore 3G
- Source the materials to be used in the project
- Measure and cut materials to specifications
- Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
Fitter/Welder Shift Info
Day shift 6am-4:30pm- Monday – Thursday (Some Fridays as needed)
Fitter/Welder Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Proven welder- Pass 3G welding test
- Must pass a fit test
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Deftness and attention to detail
- Proficient in English
- Able to pass a drug test
- Must pass background check
- Able to work in the US
