Job description

We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Welders and Fitters to join our team. As a Welder and Fitter, you will be responsible for welding and fitting various metal components to fabricate or repair structures and equipment. You will work with different materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, using various welding techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fitting requirements

· Measure and mark metal components for fabrication and assembly

· Operate welding equipment and tools, such as shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, and plasma arc welding equipment

· Perform welding and fitting tasks according to industry standards and project specifications

· Ensure the quality and accuracy of welds and fittings, inspecting finished products for defects and compliance with specifications

· Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing regular maintenance and repairs needed

· Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe work environment

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and requirements

· Continuously update knowledge and skills in welding and fitting techniques and technologies

Qualifications:

· Certification in welding or relevant vocational training is preferred

· Proven experience as a Welder and Fitter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

· Strong knowledge of different welding materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel

· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in welding and fitting tasks

· Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a welding and fabrication environment

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills
