JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager with experience in beverage management for our Wolfgang Puck Restaurant. This responsible for insuring the overall quality of guest service and food quality in a Four Diamond fashion. In doing so, creating an efficient and professional environment for all guests and staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

As a Wolfgang Puck Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for hands-on supervision of the entire Wolfgang Puck Front of the House team including Servers, Server’s Assistants, Hosts/Hostesses, Bartenders and Food Runners.

• Assure the highest level of guest standards are met on a daily basis
• Assure consistent maintenance of beverage consumption and control procedures.
• Process and maintain monthly beverage inventories
• Meet regularly with the Wolfgang Puck Management team to ensure fluidity of communication.
• Assist other managers on the floor in a management capacity.
• Plan menus for clients according to Wolfgang Puck food and beverage standards.
• Strong knowledge of wines.
• Responsible for adherence to hotel service standards, control of labor expenses, effective inventory management of small wares, linens and furniture, effective scheduling and supervision of staff and assuring guest satisfaction.
• Participate in an “aggressive hospitality program,” greeting all guests with warmth and enthusiasm, and be attentive to their needs while they are with us.
• Follow established uniform, grooming and appearance standards and company policies.
• Directly responsible for the grooming standards and appearance of all restaurant staff.
• Proactive safety standards and reports all unsafe conditions.
• Provide fast and courteous service to our guests; to accomplish this, a well-organized work environment must be maintained.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times as a goodwill ambassador of the AGPH to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Responsible for maintaining energy conservation, loss prevention and recycling programs.
• Maintains high level of sanitation and cleanliness in service areas.
• Must be visible in the public space during all meal periods to ensure guest needs a being met.
• Must have a willingness to please guests, ability to get along with co-workers and other supervisors.
• Ability to follow established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Good record of attendance and punctuality at work.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

TIPS Certified

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• A four-year degree from an accredited college or University is preferred.
• 2+ years Management experience in a high volume restaurant or hotel.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before guests or associates of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts or percentages. Ability to read and manage profit and loss statements; ability to project forecasts.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
