Join us as a Workday Security & Governance Analyst
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Workday Security & Governance Analyst to join our Human Resources Systems.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Project & Process Management:
- Security point of contact on HR projects and enhancements providing security role design guidance and best practices
- Take lead in the design and implementation of new Workday Security functionality
- Actively pursue innovative initiatives and improvements in current processes
- Partner with HR to gather/document business requirements, coordinate and document testing, and deliver accurately to HR clients
- Configure changes in Workday based on business requirements
- Perform thorough and robust testing for all security changes, document test scenarios and create test scripts in support of SDLC
- Partner with HRBT team members in the design of security for delivery of integrations, business processes (Recruiting, Time off, Time tracking, payroll, and other core HCM modules), reporting, security groups and other deliverables in Workday
- Manage security implementation and migration to production for projects, enhancements, etc.
- Participate and support other HR and Systems projects and initiatives as needed
Systems Maintenance, Controls & Governance:
- Workday Security Administration to align with operating model
- Workday Security Configuration for enhancements, address defects, and new functionality (i.e., Business Process Config/Policy, Integration security, report security etc.)
- Develop, document, and maintain internal HR Technology Standard operating procedures
- Provide support with Workday release security testing as needed
- Conduct regular audits on Workday access
- Respond to requests for security audits as needed HR, HR Risk, or leadership team
Client Focus:
- Address inquiries from Client Service Center related to employee data in Workday and external systems such as payroll, and other internal BBH systems
- Schedule meetings as needed with HRBPs and COEs to address any security questions or issues
- Utilize Workday Community and other Workday forums to recommend enhancements for Workday functionalities to optimize and streamline HR operations
Desired Qualifications:

3+ years relevant experience in HRIS, HR configuration, security, or related disciplines

Workday configuration and security experience preferred

Workday Pro preferred but not required

Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures (i.e., Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines

Ability to recognize risk and remediate/mitigate as needed

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team

Experience in the financial services industry a plus

Experience working in a global organization a plus
Salary Range
$60,000 to $75,000 Jersey City, NJ
BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations.
