Mobile Physician Services is seeking a licensed Part-Time Wound Care Provider (APRN or PA) to join our growing team of house-call medical professionals in the Pasco and Hernando, FL area. An active Florida medical license is required. A reliable mode of transportation is essential as this position requires frequent travel to patient homes within the Pasco and Hernando, FL area. The perfect candidate will have previous experience working in geriatrics and enjoy being an engaging and positive member of our valued team. This role requires the highest caliber of professionalism and exemplary communication with internal and external contacts. Strong attention to detail is required as this position routinely handles patient information in electronic medical records. Personable, service-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply!

The Psychiatric APRN/PA’s responsibilities include:

• Maintain compliance with HIPPA and Health Care regulations
• Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patients’ age-specific needs.
• Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
• Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic and psychological stability.
• Serves as a Wound Care Provider in collaboration with Medical Director, following Practice, state, and federal regulations while observing established Standard of Care guidelines and practice-specific policies and produces.
• Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
• Facilitates the patient’s transition within and between healthcare settings.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
• Facilitates staff, patient, and family decision-making by providing educational tools.
• Attends all team huddles and staff meetings to ensure ongoing quality care and appropriate communication within the healthcare delivery team.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
