Position Summary: The Part Time Assistant performs assigned accounting functions primarily focused on general ledger accounts reconciliations. Will be exposed to a variety of accounting functions.
Essential Functions:
- Reconcile weekly/monthly general ledger reconciliations, as assigned, in a timely manner, including research and follow up of variances.
- Review and mail the accounts payable checks for Union Bank and Trust and affiliates.
- Compile financial information into reports for management.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financials and reconciliations for affiliate companies.
- Complete quarterly invoicing for an affiliate company.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
Qualifications:
- General accounting experience preferred.
- Seeking degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proficient in 10-key calculator, Excel, Microsoft Word and in working with other bank software.
- Office Products, Fiserv and in working with other company software

Working Environment:
Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
Some sedentary work and occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds.
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
