Job description

Our client in Taunton has an IMMEDIATE need for an Accounting Clerk to handle office administrative and clerical tasks and generate project invoices. Must be familiar with such procedures, and have a basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Create and maintain information in project management system and databases
• Create contracts, change orders and related documents
• Use QuickBooks to invoice projects
• Prepare and distribute sales reports
• Handle HR functions such as onboarding and maintaining PTO schedules
• General office duties such as filing and ordering supplies

Accounting Clerk Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of administrative support experience and knowledge of related procedures
• Basic knowledge of accounting, experience with QuickBooks preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday / Day shift

Pay Rate: Starting at $21.00 per hour
