Position Title
Administrative Assistant II/Event Coordinator

Job Duties
This position will coordinate events for the Redler Institute of Culinary Arts and provide administrative support for the Culinary Arts Executive Chef and the Associate Dean of the STEM division. The position requires excellent customer services skills with prospective and current students, faculty, staff and community leaders.

Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills
A. Demonstrated administrative support experience.
B. Excellent customer relations, organizational, planning, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
C. Ability to manage an office and complete assignments with limited or no supervision.
D. Professional attitude and appearance.
E. Interpersonal ability to maintain working relationships with all college employees and students.
F. Ability to work some evenings and/or weekends.

Required experience
A. Minimum of three years administrative experience.
B. Experience working with the public required; Experience working in the educational field preferred.
C. Experience in maintaining financial records.
D. Experience using Office 365 programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Required educational background
High School Diploma, or equivalent, is required.
Associates degree preferred.
