Lamination Operator
The Lamination Operator is responsible for controlling and managing any of the various Lamination equipment used in the manufacturing process. Lamination Operators must deal with the stress of managing multiple tasks at once, and prioritizing tasks based on the situation at hand. They may be trained on multiple pieces of machinery to enhance their knowledge of the factory’s operations.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage controls and settings required to run equipment used in the production process.
2. Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the manufacturing process, including using a measuring tape and keeping accurate inventory counts.
3. Understand and work among the different positions on the lamination machine.
4. Report on production totals at the end of your shift.
5. Communicate with supervisors and coworkers on any issues that arise during your shift.
6. Maintain highest safety standards and perform required duties in emergency situations
7. Wear personal protective equipment in all designated areas.
8. Ability to lift and stack up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
9. Problem solve with team members on processes to eliminate scrap.
10. Show up to work with an excellent attitude and always maintain a willingness to learn.
11. Overtime and weekend work is occasionally necessary, and team members are expected to be willing and available.
