IMMEDIATE OPENING for a full-time Audiology Technician at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Ft. Bliss, TX

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Audiology Technician shall perform the following functions, within the scope of accepted Audiology Technician practices. These shall be essentially the same duties as those required of any Medical Corps personnel or Government civil service provider of similar experience and in similar duty assignments. Other duties shall consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Shall receive service members, explain methods of procedures, position service members, perform diagnostic radiographic service to service members. Technologist shall perform independent audiology examinations. Reviewing test results for quality control, contrast, detail and adequate demonstration of hearing.
• Document test results. Maintain documentation of all tests provided in accordance with SRRC directives and prepare such records and reports as may be required by the policy. Ensure all documentation and reports are legible and complete.
• Prepare all documentation to meet or exceed established standards of the SRRC to include but not limited to timeliness, legibility, accuracy, content and signature.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience within the last two years working as a full-time Audiology technician.
• Have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from The American Heart Association.
• Certification as Audio Technician preferred.
