Job Overview:

Success at this position involves supply and trading for refineries and our downstream wholesale team, ensuring smooth refinery operations across the Delek system. Additional success involves driving gross margin / positive PnL via commercial, trade and business development activities. The person in this role will have a director level responsibility; managing either ULSD/Jet or gasolines across the Delek system and accountable for all commercial economic decisions. The ideal person in this role will possess 5+ of commercial commodity experience with a heavy focus in the refined product space and refining space. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the refined product supply chain. The ideal person will also possess and prominent level of commercial acumen, contract negotiation skills and the ability to multitask and manage multiple product streams.

Responsibility and Duties:

• Responsible for all ULSD/Jet or gasoline procurement/supply and marketing activities for four refineries and dozens of rack terminals.
• Trade a position in the Gulf Coast while managing pnl generated from flat price, basis, and spread positions.
• Report to management on pnl, positions, market view and fundamental and technical views on market
• Optimize refinery output by working with Economics and Planning
• Work with Wholesale team to best manage inventory and sales

Refined Products Analyst – Trading Analyst

Job Overview:

This position will give full support of the refined products trading and scheduling team, which includes deal entry from the traders, position and pricing reporting from Right Angle, and contract volume management for downstream sales. Ideal candidate for this role will either have experience in the commodities/petroleum space or be willing and able to move up the steep learning curve to become a contributing member of the team. The role will start the candidate in a support role with many options for personal growth and learning in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibility and Duties:

• Work with Middle Office and Back Office to insure positions and pnls agree and tie out daily
• Enter deals and insure strategies in Right Angle or in order for reporting
• Assist scheduling group in Right Angle maintenance including actualizations and inventory management.
