Our mission is to change the future of athlete mental health

The world is changing and so are people’s concepts of personal wellness. Nearly 80% of Americans now say that their mental and emotional well-being is their top reason for exercising. Simultaneously, mental health challenges have spiked astronomically amongst NCAA student-athletes. For most, current solutions are unapproachable, unaffordable, or ineffective.

At ZAMA, we are connecting mental and physical health through data and clinical intervention in order to not only improve health outcomes, but also the likelihood of members hitting their fitness goals. We do this by partnering with gyms and sports programs, so that they can integrate athlete-focused clinical services, such as psychotherapy and medication management, into workout programs in order to improve program adherence, performance, and health outcomes for the athletic community.

We are hiring a brand ambassador to go in person to Fitness SF (one of our gym partners) to get their members excited about ZAMA and the work we do. As part of this engagement, you would also be given a Fitness SF membership so that you could workout at their gym facilities as well. We are flexible on # of times/week and length of time spent at Fitness SF, but estimate it to be a 10 hour/week commitment.

Who you are

• Passionate about improving mental health amongst the fitness and athlete communities
• Excited to be part of a young, small team of wellness enthusiasts who are developing the wellness company of the future
• Comfortable working independently and speaking with different types of people
• Former experience as a high school or collegiate athlete is a plus
• Previous professional or educational experience in communications or sales is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San Francisco, CA 94105: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
