Department Overview
PG&E's Vegetation Management department manages 600+ tree crews and 350+ utility foresters with an operating budget of over $170M. Primary objectives are to ensure public safety, system reliability and regulatory compliance by managing vegetation on 113,000 miles of OH distribution line and 19,500 miles of transmission line across PG&E service area.

Position Summary
Conducts research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations. Participates in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives. Develops, manages and coordinates performance and quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

CA Minimum: $74,000
CA Maximum: $110,000

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Job Responsibilities

Performs analysis on moderately complex data models selecting from various reports and data options.
Determines data needs, collects data, selects from different analytical techniques to achieve desired data outcomes.
Understands business needs, develops new reports and performs custom/ad-hoc reporting working independently. Presents findings to various audiences.
Performs basic research internally and externally.
Communicates with peers inside and outside the department exchanging ideas or gathering information.
Participates on project teams.

Qualifications

Minimum:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
Job-related experience, 2 years
