Business Systems Analyst

Summary/Objective
This Business Systems Analyst will work as a full-time employee for an established and growing promotional business based in the United States. You will be responsible for working closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to develop and implement business systems in accordance to the business needs.

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Essential Functions

1. Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.

2. Document system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation.

3. Utilize and optimize promotional web store platforms specific to industry and company

4. Incumbents function as a liaison between IT and users

5. Ability to communicate with both business and technical expertise.

6. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.

7. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

2. Requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.

3. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Prior coding experience is a plus.

2. Microsoft Visual Studio
