Job Description:

• Web Technologies team is responsible for installation configurations, maintenance, upgrades, hardware migrations, patch management, troubleshooting, repair, performance tuning, incident/problem resolution, as well as monitoring and providing 24x7 support.
• In addition, the group is engaged in setup, deploys, security management, and capacity management, and will coordinate backup/restore and system recovery activities.
• It supports infrastructure architecture, application integration, project setup, and deployment.
• This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of primarily Liferay technology and other Client technologies, also need to work on the automation of repeatable processes where possible, and work with the team to design, build and support a robust internal PAAS (platform as a service) capability.
• As a Liferay and Web admin, implement best practices for security and web operations for Liferay applications and other web applications.

Skills:

• Strong experience in Liferay DXP development and administration.
• Strong experience in development frameworks like OSGi, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience in front-end technologies like angular and bootstrap.
• Strong experience in RESTful / SOAP web services and knowledge of SOA architecture.
• Experience with authentication mechanisms like SAML 2.0, and OAUTH 2.0.
• Experience with pertinent software tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub, Maven, Docker, etc.)
• Proven ability to develop architectures that incorporate high availability and operational scalability.
• Experience in securing applications as per OWASP and CWE industry standards.
• Experience in waterfall, agile, and test-driven methodologies.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery principles, practices, tools, and process
• Expertise in modern Integration, APIs, and virtualization concerns is essential
• Ability to render system design details in sequence and flow diagrams and other forms of documentation when required
• Ability to communicate complex architectures and insights in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
• Good understanding of the Network layer, OS layer, and backbends like Oracle DB, and LDAP.
• Experience with scripting languages like bash, Groovy, Python, and Javascript.
• Responsible for maintenance of Liferay portals.
• Responsible for Liferay elastic search, its enhancements, and patching.
• Write, review, and approve automation code/script.
• Work with Project teams to build automation pipelines for application environment deployments
• Provide Integration architectural design for applications and IT Integration deployments
• Provide 3rd-level operational support for Integration sites.
• Will be expected to interface and support the incident resolution with 1st and 2nd-level support teams with all IT problems high priority issues related to Integration.
• Apply experience, technical knowledge, and innovative techniques to resolve complex Operations challenges.
• Experience / Knowledge in Angular and React Js is a plus
• Experience / Knowledge in Ansible automation is a plus.
• Experience / Knowledge in Kubernetes, Openshift, Helm, and Hashicorp Vault is a plus.
