Young Judaea Sprout Brooklyn Day Camp, located in Red Hook, is a day camp for children entering Pre-K through 5th grade.

Sprout Brooklyn values staff that are positive and flexible team players who are excited to spend the summer with young campers and staff. The ideal candidate is excited about camp life and feels comfortable wearing multiple hats and will never say that a task “isn’t their job”.

We are currently looking for energetic, fun-loving and responsible counselors. Our counselors are the heart of Sprout Brooklyn. They are role models who nurture and care for campers while leading groups and participating in all activities.

Camp runs from the June 28 – August 18. Staff training is June 20 - June 22, 26-27. The camp day runs from 8:30am – 4pm, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Be a positive role model for campers and other staff members
• Supervise 12-15 campers and provide a safe environment for them to have fun and grow
• Work alongside 2-3 co-counselors and share group responsibilities
• Participate with campers in all activities while assisting activity specialists with lesson plans
• Have FUN

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1,750.00 - $3,950.00 per year
