The Carrier Partner Success Manager leads service, projects, and day-to-day relationships with an assigned group of insurance carriers; while primarily focused on Medicare Advantage, the Carrier Partner Success Manager supports all products and lines of business associated with assigned carriers. The Carrier Partner Success Manager will ensure success throughout the carrier lifecycle including procurement and vetting strategy, onboarding, implementation, special projects, and account service, while working to uncover additional partnership and revenue opportunities. This role will monitor performance and communicate additional partnership and revenue opportunities to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring objectives are met and incremental business opportunities are identified. This role is an outstanding opportunity to learn and develop solid Carrier Account Management/Partner Success Management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver service of the highest quality, meeting carrier and internal business objectives.
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive execution of objectives.
  • Strong background working with external stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders within internal business and carrier organization
    to generate adoption of carrier programs and objectives.
  • Devise engagement plans that consider business goals, carrier goals, internal and external organization structures and map products and services to achieve these goals.
  • Drive escalation of carrier issues, coordinate critical resources in the escalation process, and
    assist with carrier issues through to resolution.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate all carrier communication through calls and meetings to manage agenda items and timelines.
  • Advocate as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned carriers and represent assigned Carrier Partners internally at eHealth.
  • Proactively gather carrier feedback and convey information to internal teams.
    Conduct regular business reviews to articulate carrier performance to both external and
    internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize multiple systems to review carrier performance and manage carrier activity during onboarding and steady-state for both reporting and issue escalations.
  • Develop regular and ad hoc reporting or presentation slides as needed per internal and external
    requests.
  • Partner with call center and other internal departments on process issues and improvements.
    Partner with Legal and Compliance Departments on carrier partner contracting, project
    scope, implementation review, and necessary filings.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years prior experience working in account management, partner success, customer success, and client services capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Experience working with marketing for both online and offline conversions and is very comfortable working in a process-driven environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Salesforce.

  • Strong organizational and self-management capacity – Must be able to manage several projects at once.
  • Prior experience in the Healthcare industry, Health Care Reform, and Medicare knowledge helpful.
  • Willingness to travel when needed.

    The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.       Base Pay Range -$80,000 - $100,000
