The Center Specialist helps the Center Manager and/or Franchise Owner run the day-to-day operations of this retail location. He or she may be required to open and close the center, help manage productivity and ensure the center’s team delivers world-class customer service to all customers, while monitoring cost control and expenses, and proactively contributing to daily revenue reports to be provided to the franchise owner. The Center Specialist is genuinely friendly, extremely organized and detail-oriented. He/she is also proactively involved with training, optimizing sales, profit/loss management, continuous center improvements, service delivery levels, overall personnel management, and business development.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (college coursework or a degree preferred), two years minimum in retail store operations experience, strong supervisory/managerial/leadership skills, excellent computer/internet/software knowledge, the physical ability to perform this job (lifting, bending, etc.), and knows how to listen, follow, lead, and help the center attain defined targets. He or she must have a dynamic, cheerful personality and must be able to help motivate a team to optimize performance by modeling the right behaviors. Previous experience in a fast-paced business environment is a plus. Supervisory retail and/or hospitality management experience while working with shipping/logistics, print production and proficiently operating commercial MFM's (Multi-Function Machines) equipment is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helps with ongoing store management, which includes training, scheduling, and coaching associates
  • Schedules ongoing work assignments and helps facilitate monthly performance reviews
  • Monitors, evaluates, and helps maximize the customer experience
  • Helps develop and implement store marketing program initiatives
  • Helps manage customer claims
  • Manages inventory
  • Reviews daily employee time reporting and confirms hours prior to payroll processing
  • Helps oversee Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Able to pass a background check to become a notary public is required
  • Shipping and printing industry experience preferred, but not required

CENTER SPECIALIST POSITION COMPENSATION
$17.50 - $19.00/hour based on level of professional skills, including shipping, print production and supervisory experience + earned hourly rate increase (raise) eligibility after 90 days
